Karlo A. Pacheco is a visionary Managing Director and award-winning chef with over 20 years of experience in the international Food & Beverage industry. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Miami, where he studied Baking & Pastry, Karlo later expanded his expertise at Harvard Business School through the “Leading with Finance” executive program in 2024.
Karlo currently leads three thriving food businesses under FOODSERVICE APME, including the renowned Maxzi The Good Food Shop. Located in the UAE, Maxzi is celebrated for its standout burgers and premium steaks, earning the prestigious title of “Best Burger” in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi for the past few years. Maxzi also offers authentic Peruvian products and dishes.
In addition to Maxzi, Karlo also manages Indoguna Dubai, a reputable foodservice distributor in the UAE specializing in high-quality meats, dry goods, and gourmet products. Under his leadership, Indoguna has become the largest distributor of Peruvian products in the region, reinforcing Karlo’s deep culinary and cultural ties to Peru.
